Raon Digital has been manufacturing UMPC for two years, and are releasing a netbook in september, the Everun Note. The manufacturer has made some interesting design choices, using the available space well. The keyboard occupies most of this netbook’s base.
I’m not sure but, from the photo, it looks like a pointing stick has been chosen over a classical trackpad? This would be a smart move, since the eee pc 701 trackpad is too small to have enough usability and an external mouse is an imperative.

The result is a light device (1.64lb), only 7.87″ wide for 4.65″, one of the most pocketable netbooks. Only the new 5.6″ Fujitsu Lifebook U2010 would be smaller.
The Everun Note is also the first UMPC to integrate an AMD based dual core processor. The graphic card can deliver a high resolution on an external display as well (up to 1920×1200).
The storage will be available as a solid state drive, or as a 1.8″ hard disk.
A USIM card slot will let you insert a 3G SIM card and browse the internet at broadband speeds. It makes of the Everun Note a good choice for mobile phone operators, if they want to attract customers with a UMPC/3G bundle.
