Dell mini 9 details unveiled

UMPC portal unveiled a sales flyer containing new details about. The new infos look consistent with what we previously knew about the Dell E.
Update: It is now official, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is available at Dell’s online store.

The price of the cheapest model model costs now $50 more than known previously ($349).
The Dell Mini 9 will have Ubuntu 8.04 as its Linux operating system.
We will have to wait for the first reviews to see the quality of Dell’s netbook (the casing looks like it is composed of cheap plastic parts). Considering that it does not include a webcam, and the corresponding model from Asus (apart from the screen), the EEE PC 4G Surf model, can already be found as low as 199€ ($288), the Dell Mini 9 standard edition is not interesting at $349.
