euro 2008 results on your eee pc
June 6, 2008 – 3:38 pmThe Euro 2008 football (soccer) championship, hosted by Switzerland and Austria, starts on June 7. We have found a program that could help you monitor all the latest results, from your eee pc.
We have a vast amount of visitors coming from major football nations (Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil…), and tomorrow starts the widely anticipated competition.
Euro 2008 1.0 can be downloaded from the project page. Unpack the archive somewhere, and an executable can be found. No installation needed, a double click on Euro_2008_1.0 and the program will start.
You can choose the group for the first phase (group C in our case), and enter the results to keep statistics. Some useful features were added, like choosing the time zone. If you are in South America for example, the match schedule will adaptate to your local time.
Euro 2008 could also be used to simulate all the results you are expecting, and compare to the real results.
Pressing CTRL+U will launch an online update, so you are always up to date with the latest results.
The statistics tab with provide all the informations at glance, and the possibility to export the data to a text or HTML file, ready for printing.
