Kubuntu Hardy KDE4 on the eee pc

Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron was released a few days ago, and came out, as always, in many flavours. We tried Kubuntu, the Ubuntu variant with a KDE4 desktop.

eeepclinuxos live usb review

Not in my intention to raise the debate, but I have been a KDE user over the years with Mandrake. My production laptop has mandriva and pclinuxos alongside, so I was very curious to test an adaptation of pclinuxos for the eee: eeepclinuxos.

The EEE PC comes with a linux distribution. If you never tried an open source OS, you don’t have to be afraid: the EEE is really easy to use and intuitive.
